Also, they’re not actually afraid to take the subway. Everyone who works at Fox News takes the subway every day. They’re perpetuating a false narrative that Democratic leadership turns cities into crime-ridden hellholes. “Department of War” is the opposite of a false narrative.
A stopped clock is right twice a day and “Department of War” is Good Actually. They’re not renaming, they’re reverting to its original, accurate name. And when it sounds unnecessarily aggressive (which it always was) public opinion will be more likely to turn against its endlessly escalating budget.
The reason many of the commentators don’t like Bluesky is because the infrastructure is set up in a way that no longer benefits them. On Twitter it was always easier to gain an audience by purposefully saying things that upset people. Getting ratio-ed was a tactic. Here, that’s much harder.
This gets progressively funnier with every use of the term "floppy".
