Heading to Monza now, which is a special place for me and the whole team. I don’t think we are in the same position as last year, but we will give it everything to recover and make it a great weekend for all our tifosi at home.
Charles Leclerc #16 Today hurts. It was a difficult weekend all along, and it ended in the worst way. In terms of pace, we were quite strong, which was a positive turn of events, and it was good to gain some positions.
While it’s disappointing, there are many positives to take from the weekend and the team has worked really hard throughout. I want to apologise to everyone in the team and to the tifosi, both here at the track and at home — we had hoped to bring home more points today.
Lewis Hamilton #44 I felt comfortable in the car and the pace was encouraging, but unfortunately I lost the rear under braking into Turn 3. It was a sudden snap and with the damp patch on the paint outside, I couldn’t avoid the wall.

That said, after the summer break our priority was to keep building, and today was an encouraging step forward. This circuit is always difficult when it comes to overtaking, so if the weather does bring some mixed conditions tomorrow, hopefully it will create opportunities
Lewis Hamilton #44 Today was a challenging one in terms of getting the car fully into the right performance window. We showed promising pace on the medium tyre in FP3, but weren’t able to fully translate that into qualifying, and there’s still work to do compared to the teams ahead.
We’ll do everything we can to fight our way forward and bring home a good result for the team.
Leclerc🔰It’s been a difficult weekend overall, which makes it tough to build up to the race in the way we want to. The balance of the car makes it tricky to drive and I didn’t put it all together in qualifying. It’s just that kind of weekend for us, but we may be able to play with strategy tomorrow.

Time to unleash the archive. Monza, 1975 📍 Race week is here and we’re taking you back. The team arrives at Monza leading both championships, with Niki Lauda needing just half a point to clinch the Drivers’ championship after a breakthrough season.
That winter work laid the groundwork for a dominant campaign. Twelve races and four wins later, the team has the chance to claim both championships at home in front of an expectant Tifosi.
It all started months ago, in the cold of Fiorano. After a hard-fought ’74 season, the team wasted no time getting back to work designing the new 312T and bringing a line-up ready to fight at the very front.
