I came very late to Moebius bc the Heavy Metal movie largely adapts the comics’ most simplistic and dated elements w/little of its true art so I wrote it/him off until I saw the genuine article. Such an amazing balance of old McCay/Herriman/Hergé strip fundamentals and decades-ahead innovations

I would describe that photograph as art. Full stop. This image wouldn’t exist without you thinking about it and making it happen, that makes you the artist. Everyone will have their own definition, but I really think it’s the intention and the attempt that define art.
