I like just woke up so idk if that makes sense but yeah, I used to visualize movies in my head from the first two MCR albums, and it led to me feeling like there was something a lot deeper with that band that I couldn't find elsewhere. The costumes and pageantry as well (am a visual kei fan too!)
Perhaps this can lead to emotional attachment to various characters within a band's story or universe, leading more feminine people to grow a fanbase for them (often more bookish/shy/otherwise anxious types, finding a good outlet for their emotions or passions -- at least from what I've seen)
I've never actually heard of Sleep Token, so I suppose this is my sign to check them out... Something about the lore & world-building within a concept band universe makes it easier to latch on & want to learn more. There's so many more layers to want to discover, versus just any other band, haha.

My newest baby, JP region N64 in Clear Blue!!! Now I can play games I want (like Mario Party) for a fraction of the cost, because Japanese games are generally cheaper for whatever reason. It was missing the cardboard backing of the box (shrug), plus AV cables (bought separately). What a beaut! ✨️

Oh!! We had a big poster of them up in my middle school classroom haha, but I guess they're not super publicized as an animal! I always feel simultaneously happy and sad for them. It looks so cozy and warm, but then I remember how much it sucks to get out of a shower in the winter, and ugh LOL
I used to have two rabbits, Oreo and Shadow. My family found them abandoned in a cardboard box outside the Cotati Walgreen's, partially covered by the building, but the box was still soaked. We took them home and my mom built them a hutch. They used to stomp like that, hahaha. I miss them.

I used to go camping every month or two in middle school, thanks to the program I was in -- Expeditionary Learning. I knew it was special even then, but if only I had known just how rare it is to get to go on those kinds of trips so often! I don't know how to now, without someone setting trips up.
Any friends who are into camping & hiking? I have acquired a 6-person tent (brand new) from my mom's, and also have a tarp and a few sleeping bags (plus some brand-new camping lanterns and a turn-crank radio thing). Maybe it's getting too late in the year, but it'd be cool to even do a 1-night stay!

Home media update, got all the VHS tapes shelved/put away. Including home tapes that my mom recorded. She and I used to watch nature documentaries together, so it's extra special she labeled these. Will put the full vaporwave corner pic in comments, along with updated DVD shelf (looks much nicer).

Ever since I heard about exercise helping with menstrual pain, I've tried to at least go on walks to get some exercise :) but my cardio of choice definitely fits the bill! I'm glad there are other great options, too. I was exaggerating the pain a little this time, but it can really suck sometimes!
