Oh man, I loved exploring the big levels and finding hidden areas. Felt like a nice change of pace from the more linear ones.
About 20 hours. Definitely feels like the longest of the three but very fun.
Yeah it didn't feel like it was in the way or overstayed its welcome at all. Really enjoy the story bits. Cool characters and the Slayer is as badass as ever of course.
Doom: The Dark Ages done. Fantastic stuff. I love all the modern Dooms and I'd probably rank them 2016>TDA>Eternal (still liked Eternal but prefer the shield/weightier combat vs super speed parkouring). Cool story, gorgeous visuals, shield/weapons were addictive, fun level design. Rip and tear! 🤘

Some enemies do dish out 'bullet hell' style attacks and others don't, but nowhere near the level of Returnal. I also loved Returnal, it's interesting that would turn you off from Doom TDA when you loved it too lol.

Interesting. Aesthetics, music, the combat feel very Doom imo. Chainshot just destroys, the skullcrusher mows down cannon fodder demons, flying across the battlefield to bash dudes with the shield, everything happening so fast I have to think on my feet every second. Just loving it

Doom: The Dark Ages is awesome. Not sure why some were down on it this year. On chapter 10 now and been having a great time so far. Enjoying the deeper dive into Doom lore too.

It'll just depend on profit. Historically Mafia's never really reviewed amazingly well, except for the first one. Mafia 2 landed at 77, Mafia 3 at 68 and that one still sold over 7 million copies. With this one being $50, the budget's probably smaller too.
