Many years later I managed a record store that was the first place Rodeo tickets would go on sale for walk ups, and we supplied the inventory for the in house rodeo music store. Got to see some more rodeo than I needed, but saw some really cool performers too!

My parents were big fans so I was excited too. We still listen to Elvis all the time!
The first concert my parents took me to was Elvis Presley at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo at The Astrodome. I was four. And I vividly remember them driving him around the arena in the back of a truck while they blasted 2001. I was off to a great start!
