I just left the Everglades Immigrant Interment Camp. No, I’m not using their ridiculous name. It was a very tough to witness humans in those cages. Every Floridian should be ashamed that our taxpayer money is being used for this.
Been doing an Enterprise rewatch. It amazes me how much Trek continues to stay relevant. I’m at the end of S.4. Demons & Terra Prime disturb me like never before, given current treatment of immigrants by ICE in the US. 😕
They’re planning on building a detention center for migrants in the middle of the fetid swamps of Florida. If you think this is something new, the first internment camp they sent me and my family to in 1942 was a barbed wire prison called Rohwer. It was located in the swamps of Arkansas.

I am so very sad that Hillsborough has caved on this issue. The challenge process that the district has in place was valuable and thorough. How exactly are media specialists “reviewing” the books? Sounds like finding and removing.
