Even though my extensive plan for Brighton PsychFest was curtailed somewhat I did manage to see some fabulous bands for the first time - @dublonde.bsky.social and #BlindYeo (pic), both of whom I will see again. #Honeyglaze were great, but the audience noisy, sadly.

He did their half-marathon a couple of years ago, running for Project Galgo. Rescue dogs feature big in his life.
Lots of great memories of the place over the years. Still like to get down here when i can. My youngest is running the Brighton marathon next April too !

I'm a proud Londoner. According to my DNA I'm a mix of Eastern Europe/ Scottish Highlands/ SE England and smaller percentages of Scandinavia/ Iceland. Think my more immediate ancestors came over from the Low Countries, as Van Johannas, to Camberwell.
So very pleased ..... 'Thirst' is absolutely a classic of the era.
Btw I'm carrying a sizeable chunk of Scottish Highlands DNA so feel sorta there .....

It was a great time around Canterbury with bands tours regularly stopping at the Odeon, the Art College and Kent University......
Forgot that one.... so in the space of a few short months, three albums from the early punk originators, which altered the direction radically, whilst some people still hadn't realised that Punk had even started.....
Certainly took things off in a whole new direction, considering it predates 'The Scream' by half a year or so.....
