The sundipper snacking tomatoes are ripening. There are still some blossoms, & some new clusters, so this is only about a quarter of the plant. I have already eaten them three days this week. They’re nice & sweet raw, but also cook up nicely. My last count of the plant had over 160 tomatoes. 🌱
I'd also like to reiterate that I'm not a skilled gardener, I legit don't know shit about plants, I only know about marine biology and surface level stuff about bugs. All that to say- if I can do it you can do it. It isn't hard as long as you water it. Worst case you kill some plants & try again.

What’s blooming today: liatris aspera! Aka rough blazing star aka button blazing star aka tall blazing star. It lived up to its name: I planted it fall 2023, it sat there doing nothing last year, this year it’s as tall as I am! Can’t wait until it’s a big clump. 🌱
Also blooming today: zinnias! The stars of the late summer garden. We’ve seen monarchs, swallowtails, skippers, hummingbirds and of course bees on them. 🌱

🌱we need to come up with a plant—flowering shrub/ bush to cover my next door neighbor’s radon pipe/ bulb. Pics to follow. There is a massive oak leaf hydrangea btwn our doors and he has a huge old, beautiful azalea growing right beside the pipe. Any ideas? I’m including pics for reference.
Not sure of exact plant but would something in a large pot suit so it can be placed on the paver stone and moved away to service the plumbing if/when needed? Seems to be a mostly shared spot ..would that be correct?

As a landscaper,the most costly tree I've bought was a field dug ancient olive tree for a client that in a 108" diameter box. It was in the 30k range! 😳 But for my garden, a 48" box Chinese Pistache tree @$1,500. Trees are a lifetime investment! (1st tree is my Pistache. 2nd tree is the olive). 🌱
