We were gifted an entire box of apples. What to do with so many? Apple butter!
I like being pampered but who can afford it nowadays. Plus, it’s nice to have a good meal at home with your family for 1/3 the cost. We have been doing the community boxes lately. You give a ten dollar donation and get a box full of fruit, vegetables, meat and other things that don’t sell.

Doing lessons for TEFL and it’s amazing how much of the more difficult English grammar we honestly don’t use in conversational English. I’m exceedingly grateful the Chinese grammar is much easier to learn.

I will say it’s more beautiful to write with a brush. Reading it is painful. Beautiful but painful for those of us who learned simplified first.
I’ve changed my routine. Every morning I practice calligraphy for an hour when the house is quiet. It’s become my favorite part of the day.
I usually hide away in the library, but today I tried my best to recruit students to Asian Studies majors and minors🩷 Quite a few students interested in our study abroad programs! I may have advocated for Chinese a wee bit more than the other languages available 😊
