One of the first things trump did in both presidencies was to stifle free speech. First time was anything to do with environmentalism, and this time anything to do with the existences of minorities and women having equality and jobs. Elon also frequently tries to suppress speech on his nazi feed.

Can be rough depending on the location. The poor folks stuck growing up in the middle of suburb sprawl pretty much have no choice in the matter but car. Where as if your within a small-mid sized town, or a city in general, at least might be some options you can walk to in a reasonable distance.

Most "red/blue" states are actually quite purple once you look under the surface. The redder states have a lot of nonsense gerrymanding and restrictive voting laws to make it harder for blue cities to vote in actual representation into the state government.
They only care about our voices when election season comes around, then they go back to dismissing any concerns we have when they win or blaming us for all their failures when they lose, until it's time to brow beat us again for votes again or else the Other Guy™ will win!
