Today my Bird of the Day is the Eastern Wood-Pewee. Found at the Farm this weekend where there was a lot of great folks getting together to juggle. I’d like to wish a happy birthday to one person that was present and another that was celebrating closer to home. #itsabird 🪶 🎈

I hear ya. I support whatever folks do to count their birds but for me personally it’s photo or nothing. I still enjoy sightings without a picture but I just don’t log it.

I found some used in great condition that made it a lot more affordable. I tried some of the local shops first and when they didn’t have inventory went to an online option.

My Bird of the Day today is the Black-bellied Whistling Duck. This one wasn’t concerned much by people being around and walked closer when I arrived at a birding spot likely due to a history of being fed. Looks kinda like it was colored by someone that had never seen a duck before. 🪶 #itsabird
