If Obama or Biden had said this, it would be rightfully understood as them arrogating dictatorial authority to themselves, it would be the only thing anyone in the media or opposition would talk about for a year, and it would probably end their presidency. For Trump, it’s literally just Tuesday.
Do the president and the cabinet not have, like, things to do? It’s just hours everyday now of him saying stuff like “I personally signed the Khitomer Accords” while department heads nod.
