Dang, I wish I'd seen this sooner! My son is a big G fan and I would have loved to have gotten this for him. I'll keep an eye out for it next year.

Those are the sweet spots as far as the target audience goes. And it is made for kids, so temper expectations if you wind up watching it.
I don't know that you'd really be missing much if you skipped it. Unless you have a 10-year old niece you want to connect with, that is.
It's a lot of fun. It's also not horror at all, if that's what you were hoping for. The characters are fun, the songs are banging, the animation is impressive. It slows down a bit in the back half, but picks up again at the end. That being said, I probably won't watch it again anytime soon.

I do that all the time in my car. I'll be listening to a podcast streaming from my phone and then panic because my phone isn't in my pocket. One time I even turned around before I got out of the neighborhood and went back home. Didn't realize what I was doing until I pulled into the driveway.

A fellow roller derby husband was accidentally sent a 25lb box of Oreo pieces at work. (He works in IT; he was confused 😄) So he gave it to us to vacuum seal packages and give them to team members in exchange for using them to make him a cheesecake. I was not expecting a single giant bag of Oreos!

If you're interested, there's another TV spin-off called Wellington Paranormal that follows the cops that come by the vampire house. The comedy is mostly in the dialogue, so subtitles are suggested to make it through their Kiwi accents. It's a fun little distraction.
