I was watching episode one of Alien: Earth and this one actress was driving me crazy! I knew her! I just couldn't place her. Then it came to me in a dark voice in the back of my head: "Ba...ba...DOOOOOOOK!" That was it! She was the mother in The Babadook!
Also, recently, a supposed job recruiter wanted me to get a credit report from a site they steered me to. I checked it out first. Turns out if you use the site, they will bill you monthly, even though they say it's a one-time fee.
They really just want information. Bits of your info are already out there to be bought and sold. But they may lack a little something they might need to steal your identity. So they do what they can to fill in the holes.

Anyway, when people start talking about the 90s as an overall cultural phenomenon, I just kind of go blank. I was there, but totally not paying attention. What’s your favorite thing from the 90s?
Television: Star Trek, Highlander, WB cartoons, Babylon 5, anime… Dramas and sitcoms? No idea. I’m sure I watched a few. Books: So much Anne Rice and Jack Chalker. I think Anne Rice did have a surge of popularity in the 90s, so…that’s one thing I relate to! 🧵
I discovered the Internet and dived right in and rarely came up for air. MUDs, MUCKs, MUSHes, fan e-mail lists, Usenet, porn (mostly from Usenet)…who could ask for anything more? 🧵
The only radio I listened to was NPR and I had an ever-growing heavy metal cassette and CD collection, a lot of it found in bargain bins in music stores. I didn’t even know Dream Theater had a new album in 1992 (I discovered them in 1989 thanks to Columbia House) until a friend told me.🧵

Yeah, that sounds incredibly frustrating. I'd never heard of a SIBO test. I had to look it up. Hopefully all this testing will lead to something better. That's what I tell myself with every medical test, anyway.
