I looked up the underlying "citations" after failing to find the cases on Westlaw. It basically made a Frankenstein monster of a ton of cases, then spit out quotes that gave me the exact answers I was looking for.
Fiddling around with ChatGPT ONCE while struggling with a legal research assignment was all I needed to never open that site ever again. It gave me 3 cases for the assertion I was looking for. All three told me exactly what I wanted to hear. All three were made up. All three!
