What a perfect VT day today!
I'm from WI and grew up with thin crust pizza cut in squares, made by Italian immigrant families. Just can't get that kind of pizza here.
Not a fan of Folino's except for the meatballs. My fav is Papa McKees in Ricmond. The Farmers Market pizza is loaded. I haven't been there in awhile.

There needs to be an end to the death penalty. People locked up are not a danger to society. The death penalty is pure vengence.

I'm thinking those in nursing homes will be required to fill out forms providing documentation that they are unable to work. There will need to be an efficient system in place to process these claims. A nightmare of a disaster in the making.

I knew an immigration judge in El Paso who was of Mexican descent. He would deport Mexican immigrants humanely and even with kindness. He would say, "Now you can return home to your mama," as he gave his orders. What a difference from the cruelty of ICE rounding up immigrants (and citizens!).
So Trump is meeting in the situation room with his National Security team. If ever we needed a competent National Security team to manage a major crisis, it is now. Escalation of a Trump-induced war needs to be avoided.

I don't know all the circumstances here, but this is incredibly sad. This elderly man does not at all appear to be a threat. His right to protest should rather be protected by security. AND he is a vet!
The multi-thousands of people in the streets protesting on "No Kings Day" (including those from my own town), exemplify democracy and freedom so much more than all the tanks and troops who are marching in DC.

It was not a nonpartisan Presidential rally of the troops; this was a MAGA political rally with the troops as props. So sad to see.
The deportation order needs to be rescinded or canceled for humanitarian reasons. It's the morally right thing to do. Moreover, this is an innocent child.
