Yeah we fired Airplane! for the laughs Damn that movie still slaps after 40 years
So we noped out after 1 ep I could see if the team DIDN'T have him on it or had some other special person since then the lack of a security detail would make sense The plot would work And we'd have stuck with it But to omit that item out of the gate? FUBAR is more believable than this 1 5/5
They get taken hostage by a team of obvious professionals My 1st reaction was "Seriously? Where's his security detail? I mean he's the husband of the current PM for fucks sake!" Believability went right out the window at that point I couldn't care less what happened after that 4/5
The PM's husband is a doctor who works with/for Doctors without Boarders. Not a big deal you would think He goes with a team to French Guyana to do DWB stuff Again not a big deal until it is 3/5
She's PM of the UK facing a crisis whereby she needs to negotiate with the French president who is effectively Marie Le Penn without being MLP Neither of these items is unbelievable & I rather liked the portrayals Here's where it gets broken in ep1 2/5
Okay so we were looking for something new to watch last night & came across Hostage on Netflix We like Suranne Jones so we figured this was a winner Nope Suranne was great, but the plot was broken from the start & we just couldn't get past that 1/5
