I lived there in the 80's also while working in Massachusetts and attending Northeastern University. The poeple were warm, community minded and not a single right wing nationalist. True, they were conservative and liked small and efficient government.... which I certainly believe in too.
New Hampshire is a great state and certainly not filled with deplorables. I say that from personal experience. Have you ever lived there?

This makes lots of sense however, the current U.S. policies won't last. Most Americans recognize the value of a strong military and economic relationship with Europe. Once the present U.S. administration is over, I believe normal relations will resume.

My Grandfather came to the U.S. from what is now Slo akia to escape the Bolshevik revolution. He worked in the Coal mines of PA for 30 years and died of Black Lung around the time I was born. Immigrants come to the U.S. for a better life. My youngest son is now an E.R. doctor. Immigrants matter!

True, you can contribute anything you want I agree, we need to enlighten people that their beliefs are rooted in ignorance and fear. False (in my opinion), by providing cogent facts, we can move people toward the realization of the truth and the error of their indoctrination.
Not surprising that tepid Ted Cruz would manufacture evidence that supports his masters position.
You can't directly contradict a person's deep personal belief without providing clear and convincing evidence. Even with that, the person will likely reject your statements. It's better to present the person with some basic logical information that challenges a basic concept within their beliefs.

Your point is valid. However I believe the Democratic party is being pulled left by the likes of Bernie Sanders (one of my Senators here in VT). For example, forgiveness of all federal school loans sounds great but when you have a 36 Trillion dollar debt, not sure it makes sense.

I voted for Harris because she was the obvious choice. However, what it really screwing up this country is the polarization. Democrats have gotten more liberal and Republicans more conservative. Meeting in the middle is the only true solution.
I wasn't saying Trump was a better choice. I'm saying the Democrats would have won the election if they 1. Wouldn't have covered for Biden's inabilities and 2. Chose a more electable Democrat that could appeal to the center of the electorate.

Disagree, the Democratic party chose the wrong candidate. They needed to choose someone with broader appeal. Kamala was one of the first ones out at the 2020 Democratic Convention.

Planning to go to the No Kings protest on June 14th in my hometown. I'm hoping everyone will participate in their local protest. We need to show we're against many of the things the President, Congress and Courts are doing. This is our country... not his kingdom!

Obviously, this is very relevant to what is happening in our country today. Media being excluded or denigrated at briefings, public officials taking bribes openly and politicians enriching themselves and their companies through official activities (i.e. state visits).
