Nigel Farage is claiming to Congress that the UK gov deliberately withheld details of the Southport attacker from the public. This is dangerous and it’s false. The attacker was under 18, and so a court had to give express permission to release his name in exceptional circumstances, which it did.

Under EU free movement law there would need to be five years' residence to get permanent residence, although there would not be a 'sufficient means' requirement to get it - only a requirement to show they have resided on the basis of the free movement Directive for 5 years.
