Took the garbage out in the dark and saw something move, then stop, then run away as I turned toward it. I called out "Rosie?" and she (neighbor's cat) ran back to me. I assume. I could have just scratched the chin of a different cat, I suppose.

I sort of saw a ghost today. I saw a woman in a crowd and it was Lori, except Lori died 3 years ago. Then I saw it was someone I'd seen before, but she didn't really look like Lori at all, except in the most superficial details. Which means I'm starting to forget Lori. A weird stage of grief.
Ours here are even smaller, but are a billion years old and what's left is pretty frigging hard.
