I'm tired of this theater where Donald Trump asks Republicans to do something, they seem to push bank and then cave. The only two factions of the current GOP are proud MAGA and scared MAGA. Anyone who thinks Republicans are acting in good faith is delusional.
If Mitch McConnell had had the stones to push for conviction in the Senate following the J6 insurrection, this would all have been over years ago. But nooooooo.

At some point Trump is going to call for the removal from congress of dozens of Democrats, all of them accused of mortgage fraud, and Corporate Media will obsess over details of the accusations rather than just calling it a partisan purge and fascist consolidation of power. Stop taking the bait.
One of the greatest disappointments of the Tr*mp era has been how quickly politicians of all stripes will give up their supposedly immutable principles to keep their phoney-baloney jobs. Politics is a cynical business, but it turns out the rot is deeper and wider than anyone ever guessed.
"People can wear their watches again" is the new "People can say 'Merry Christmas' again." Concocting imaginary problems and then pretending to have solved them is what a wholly incompetent administration has to do to pretend it has accomplished anything good.

Strictly from a marketing standpoint, the traditional logo is too busy when you break down the components. The new logo is too far corrected, leaving a boring, sterile and bland corporate design. But the number one most important thing to consider is who fucking cares.
"I don't want to hurt you, stop fighting back, you're hurting yourself" is literally the language of an abuser. One of the most banally horrifying things about this administration is that there is no subtext, no dog whistles, no need for interpretive work. It's all just explicit racism and cruelty.

I wouldn't be too quick to credit Murdoch. The WSJ was conservative before he bought it and it's still conservative now. As opposed to the Post, which is being dragged to the right by Bezos. The best thing you can say about Murdoch and the Journal is that he hasn't turned it into a tabloid rag.
