There was no need to start a new procurement process. We are paying for this part of the project to be done twice.

That may be an accent issue. New Zealanders play swapsies with vowels. We do pronounce it mee-lee. Also sex=six & six=sex

The Sermon on the Mount is what Jesus used to explain what he said was the greatest commandment & a summary of all the law. All understanding of scripture should line up with: Love God, self & neighbour. Neighbour includes the people you most hate. Love is defined in 1st Corinthians 13.

Here they would be RW or maybe even far right. The dems way of running a country (not codifying Roe vs Wade) prioritising private property rights & militarism is more similar to our far right party (ACT).

The important part of the post was what slur we are going to call our finance minister. Nicki no boats OR Nicola no boats. ("No boats" is in reference to a specific bulls up decision she made that has broken our infrastructure system until 2029.)

We are all exhausted by USAians. We find the USAians belief that their society is anything like what the rest of the world is like frustrating. There are attitudes & values that USAians display which are repugnant to many people outside the USA.

Without better research we really have no idea how the drug interaction works at more reasonable daily intake levels. For some things the negative outcome as a result of a drug interaction is just too life changing. Eg: pregnancy, heart attack.

So what is your solution? Give up and dont vote? IMO we would be much further down the privatisation & neo liberal path if we didn't have TPM & Greens. It is mostly them who has led most of the opposition to our current governments nonsense & helped organise the outstanding response to TPB & RSB.

I wouldnt risk it with that either. But with my anti depressants that dont really work anymore I am happy to take an occasional risk. At worst I spend a day gaming instead of being slightly productive.

And we did like your first comment. But we are also sick of USAians thinking that everything on SM is about them & not checking first. Your replies to being told we weren't in the USA were not appreciated.

Democrats would be RW in New Zealand. What works for Democrats in USA isnt going to work for NZs LW.

That is true. But this discussion is originaly about what nickname to call our female finance minister that wont put off swing voters. Context is important. We arent discussing how to stop the MPs who suck up to Trump.

Reading from people who have studied the historical context, languages, historical literature, historical cultures of an ancient text is not reading fan fiction. This attitude explains why you dont understand the sermon on the mount.

I suggest you read Jesus Creed by Scot McKnight. Or Sermon on the Mount by John Stott.

The USA left has no parties with power in government. NZ left have greens & TPM. Liberal Labour need coalition partners. The issues for NZ left are not the same as the issues for the liberal Democrats

Jesus did things differently. He only pushed back against dogmatic religious leaders. He taught loving our enemies. Ie: being kind, gentle, patient, good. We don't get to choose who to be unkind to. We have to be kind to all.

Checking the bio of the OP before replying wouldve helped. Not assuming everything on a global sm app is about your country would help too.
