9 months feels like YEARS. As a woman in Texas, it feels different. My daughter who’s getting married soon is discussing kids & for my own sanity, I’m going to have a difficult talk w her about what could realistically happen; these things that are killing preg women aren’t that uncommon.

We’ve been dog-free for a couple of years now after our old sweet dogs lived 15 & 12 years. I REALLY want a dog. Husband does not. One cat does not, based on history (she doesn’t like any creature except husband). I think I’m outvoted?

This looks like a user error issue: just got a new iPhone that has the “local awareness” feature; if my old phone got that in an update or whatever, I missed it. So to answer the original question, yes, I would enable the emergency/weather alerts using this feature.
