This kind of rhetoric is unhelpful. There are plenty of people whose health services are covered by their health insurance, and those that get rejected can appeal. A company requires that services covered are dictated through their policies, which is different from squeezing blood through a stone.

This man needs to face justice under the law, as does anyone who commits a crime, and it would be affront to both the law and the people if he evades prison.
The deceased man’s job was maintaining the operations of an insurance company. I do not see people raising pitchforks on insurance adjustors, who are responsible for investigating claims and determining what services get covered for policyholders, let alone hospital charging high prices.
If he is not getting charged for first degree murder, at the least Mangione should be charged for other crimes like second-degree murder and illegal weapons possession. There is no way this person is allowed a free pass.
