I accidentally overfired the kiln and ruined the ones I was working on. Yep. So I’m starting over. That means I’m sold out for now but I’ll have more in a week or two. I do have a lot of handbuilt Christmas trees on sale in my shop tho! So take a look if you have time.

Yeah when most of the country has their frosts, we can grow tri colored salads and chives and cilantro. We can be like those stock photos of women laughing eating salad. We just have to survive fire season.

Yep. My tomato plants are already mostly toast. And my squash are headed out. Worst time of year. But in about a month or so it will be salad green season so I try to look forward to that.

Making a classic garden sauce. Chop up heirloom tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil (and I had some eggplant) season with olive oil, salt and pepper and roast in the oven till tomatoes are soft. Blend or mash. You can add it to all kinds of recipes or use it as is on pizza or pasta. Also freezes great.
Well this is your periodic reminder that if you’re over 50 or have asthma go get your pneumonia vaccine now. I’ve known a few older people who got sick from one thing but then also got pneumonia and that’s what took their life. So plan ahead in case they take away our Covid vaccines. It could help.
Banning a vaccine cuz some people have a bad reaction to vaccines is like banning bees cuz some people are allergic. The overall benefits of having bees outweigh the reactions.The reactions can be controlled to best of our ability. Throwing away the vaccines is a guaranteed death sentence for some.
