Aspartame contains two Amino Acids. One is Aspartic Acid and the other is Phenylalanine which is not a poison nor does it cause Cancer. If a baby's PKU stated they had Phenyketouria at birth than they can not drink anything with Aspartame. It is not a poison. Our own FDA approved it.
