The media needs to stop calling this an “immigration crackdown.” That’s not what Trump’s doing. He’s using the military and ICE to invade cities and occupy them. Trump is itching for a fight, and he wants it with blue-city mayors and blue-state governors. The good news: they’re not backing down.
Can we please not lose sight—while Trump is kowtowing to Putin—that Ukraine is fighting for democracy, its sovereignty and survival. America should of course be fully supporting our courageous ally.
