I graduated from the University of Missouri's Journalism School in 1989, the oldest and one of the most prestigious journalism schools in the world. The main function of the press in our society is to be a watchdog for the people. WAPO, NYT, LAT and others have failed us regarding Trump. Period.
I believe the majority of Americans get it. The challenge is organizing that majority to accomplish the very real tasks at hand. I have not seen leadership in the Democratic party that can pull this off yet. I'm still waiting for someone to step up and take the reins.
