This right here! Remember, multiyear (aka upfront) funding operates like a huge budget cut. We also need language limiting MYF/UFF.
This is a good sign. But have to wonder if they’ll allow them to spend the allocated funds and if they’ll move forward with the multi-year funding. That will determine what they’ll be able to fund and they’ve certainly tried to hold back the allocated funds this year.
A show of bipartisan support for NIH. Basically flat except for ARPA-H. The President’s budget proposal basically ignored (as it should have been).

For those following the NIH budget fight, the next big development will be this Tuesday, Sept 2nd, with the House LHHS subcommittee markups. The bill text will likely come out late Monday. The House bill is likely to be closer to the president's budget request than the Senate's was, so be prepared.
