Day 1: Grado to Salas Got my first day of full-on walking, 15 miles total! Beautiful scenery, peaceful trail. Warm but not blazing. Lots of good revelations. #travel #nature #elcamino #buencamimo
Day 0: Arrival in Oviedo All the trains were sold out (through at least Thursday!!) so I ended up taking a bus from Madrid to Oviedo. Was dry terrain until around Leon then it turned into a lush greenery! Views from the bus were astonishing. Snapped some photos, then headed to Grado #travel
I actually eliminated this extra water bottle, two pairs of socks, and three pairs of underwear from my bag. Since I'm planning to wash my clothes every 2-3 days, I figured I needed fewer pairs. And of course, I packed my passport. Also a change purse, card holder, and a battery pack.
Day Minus One: Packing I'm walking with all my belongings along the trail so I had to be strategic about what I wanted to bring. 2 short-sleeve shirts, 2 tanks, 2 pairs of shorts, 1 pair of pants, 1 sleeve shirt, underwear and socks make my wardrobe. Sandals and trail shoes for footwear.

On Friday night, we walked the length of Manhattan, from Inwood Hill to Battery Park. New Yorkers deserve a Mayor they can see, hear, even yell at. The city is in the streets.

Yo, I just did my vision test at the NYC DMV within five minutes at the DMV License Express! And it's free! I'll have to do the license renewal online to pay. This was super simple to complete. Do this for simple renewal otherwise you need an appointment to do everything else.

This could be a powerful combination w/ Binder and JupyterHub. I can see a world where there's a simplified version of the analysis with tidy data, stats, and viz that's local and there being a full analysis option on a beefier server.
Hybrid kernels: go from local kernel to server It's WIP but there is an interface to promote a local kernel to a server kernel. For example, if the notebook discovers that the package you're trying to import isn't available in Jupyterlite, it can suggest that you hand it over a server instance.
