2/ No one was wearing a mask. But he'd seen me wearing a mask before, and I know him to be an anti-vaxxer. His issue wasn't that I wasn't wearing a mask (it was a rather empty morning), but that I have othertimes worn a mask... ...which was an offence to his freedoms. His complaint was about masks.

I think I finally figured out why I love the tiger from Kpop Demon Hunters so much.
As an insight to my persona: Back in 2006, I was the only person in a packed theatre to be laughing hard through the latter third of "A fost sau n-a fost?" (released as "12:08 East of Bucharest" abroad). That film is an incredibly slow burn, but I was tickled at its escalation.

On your recommendations (and thank you), I went and downloaded KdenLive because it was recommended online as an easy-to-use starter system. I have an intro/clip project I've been ambitious to complete, so your nudge will hopefully push me past that finish line. I appreciate all your suggestions.
Excellent suggestion and thank you for the guiding hand. I can easily find clippable moments in any stream. How do you suggest I get a raw clip (like, yt-dlp? maybe?) Which program should I send that raw clip into?
It's whelming. The beauty of OBS is that once its set up, it's effectively a one-button unit. Which clip program do I use? How do I segment certain videos for time-specified use? How do I add subtitles using just one program? Can effects be used or do they need plugins? So many variables.
I recognize some of those words! Challenge accepted! What's a tick tock?
I recognize that I am very good at some things. And I acknowledge that I have no capacity for others. ... Clips. Compilations. They hurt my brain. They are my rocket science, they are my kryptonite.
Genuinely, if I knew how to make clips or compilations, I'd be pumping them out on the regular.

I recommend hitting up thrift stores (although at the start of a school season that might be tough). Those are filled with tons of last years' books from students not needing them anymore.

Some advice: When you all buy the Sinners disc for your collection, make sure you check out the deleted scenes... if for no other reason than you get treated to additional music that didn't get into the film. (The scenes are subjective. But that music is mandatory.)
