For the unfamiliar, Pinkwater wrote a string of truly bonkers young adult novels going back to the â70sâ think Hitchhikerâs Guide for kids. Their impact on me as a child was SEISMIC.

To me the really striking thing about RFK Jr. is that he looks exactly how Drew Friedman would have drawn an insane third-generation Kennedy in an underground comic in the â80s.

I think this is correctâ itâs a retronym, like film noir, and like noir it has as much to do with the feeling you get while watching it as the actual content.
