Book 48 read for 2025; another great read that captures the vibe of a D&D party, but in a different way to The Fallbacks, this one captures the vibe of dice rolls that aren't cooperating. Really hoping we get a follow-up here

That's a wrap on "Return of the Jager"; the Party have fought two Myrmidon, discovered that the dead thief that started this whole shebang off may not be quite as dead as they thought and they've got a tentative lead for the next leg of their Quest... oh yeah, and the Gods are dying #DnD
Time for the next session and we've got a third magic macguffin in need of finding that isn't going to find itself... let's get rolling #DnD

I am doing good thnx; had a very chilled morning (for "chilled" read "bone idle"), watched some rugby this afternoon, now relaxing more before my D&D group come round and I torture them for a few hours... I mean run their session
biggest problem with 2 is it's very disjointed; we're in 1985, then 2015, then the wrong 1985, then 1955. 1 and 3 have very early jumps and very late jumps in terms of time; but spend the bulk of the movie in the 1 time period which gives the movies time to settle
feel free to hit me if you want/need to chat/vent/scream into the void

it fits better; whereas there's moments with the 1955 Biff where he is clearly trying to kill Marty with the car and like... "dude, you're just meant to be the school bully"
part III's tongue in much more firmly planted in it's cheek than the 1st one and, one thing definitely in it's favour; the western setting makes it easier for Biff's to be THE bad guy in a more conventional way
