I’ve read most of the birthday book and come to a disturbing conclusion. We are not all alike “deep down”. We don’t all want the same things. Epstein’s friends are terrible people. They all knew he was raping girls. They are shallow, cruel, crass, antisocial and suffer from arrested development.
