Couldn't that be replicated by a function? Seems like a fairly simple trait to replicate.

Thanks!

The only reason I stopped arguing after your initial comment is because: a) the basis of your points is correct b) I've argued with a prominent figure on BlueSky before and my comments were shared around (out of context), making me out to be an asshole in front of tens of thousands :p
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
I am an outlier who desires to be corrected and will likely argue to pry for more - even if it makes me look more like an arse* on a public forum :p
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
One of the ways that I learn is by (often) making controversial or blatantly incorrect statements with the intention of informed beings providing correction that fills gaps in my knowledge or collective knowledge.
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
I'm extremely appreciative of your input on this.
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
It certainly leads to a more "spectacular" atmospheric experience.

I'm not a fan of "doing it for the gram" culture, which I am afraid the attendance of Burning Man is turning into. You have raised a great point about this social media influence leading to a greater awareness of the origins and purpose of Burning Man. Whether it is a net-positive outcome...
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
Agree with all of your points and am aware of the history, culture, and social construct underlying Burning Man which is important for general awareness of alternative social structures. My post completely dismissed that and I acknowledge that.
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
All good. Noticing your data science background... Interesting work ๐
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
I never said anything about either one being a "festival" or having "lineups". I understand your interpolation is that these are separate events. You are correct.
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
Agree. Apart from the quote of "event is about" which is not actually a quote from my post ๐ You can remove those quotation marks thank you.
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social)
Australia has its own version of Burning Man. It's called the Mundi Mundi Bash located in Broken Hill. It's the same dystopian utopia without the focus on status and social media (which is why you probably have never heard of it). It's huge and truly remote. (1800 mile drive from where I am.)
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social)
I set a number of personal goals this year and have somehow accomplished all but two which are nearing completion. It's been an exhausting to-do list birthed from quiet-time and creativity. While the prospects build, I steadily continue...
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
Not sure. Seems like a decent movement at surface level.

I tend to agree. Especially because it's extremely common to be put on a BlueSky list due to association. It's a classic "guilty by association." BlueSky is fairly toxic in this area.

Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
Your posts are interesting. I wouldn't be upset about being on the list if I were you. I'm on over 200 lists. It's pretty normal here.

I'm pretty sure the buildings in the image alone would solve and future-proof Australia's entire housing crisis. (Evergrandeโs Life in Venice development in Qidong, Jiangsu province.)
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social)
Australia has possibly the most serious housing crisis in history - Housing shortage - Labour shortage - Highest per capita immigration in the world Surely, China's Evergrande Group has the best-fit expertise for this problem?

You are thinking perfectly clear. Whether it is going for a walk to clear your head, or travelling to the other side of the world - finding your optimal environment is imperative for success. The moment you identify your environment as the issue is the time to take action.

Microsoft, AWS, and Google have projects in stealth-mode. Research and development from these companies suggests nuclear power is the next logical step. Strategic acquisitions in nuclear are now common.

Most people don't know: The largest infrastructure projects in history are data centres. It started with a few with funding around $500bn (Project Stargate, Texas). Within months, this grew to more than five known data centre projects over $1 trillion dollars.

E.g. A method to prove that Donald Trump stole my Amazon box is to sample the DNA from a hair left at my front door. If there was actually a strand of hair at my front-door, the method could be used to find evidence. However, the method itself is not evidence that Donald Trump stole my pay-check.
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
Nothing about the method is currently providing evidence. Typically, multiple methods would be devised and tested to produce evidence.
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
How feasible is your method? Both visiting Jupiter and flying to London require someone to agree to make the journey. Both individuals accepting a level of risk imposed by the two modes of air travel.
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
That is what is called a method. A method to prove a hypothesis is empirically different to evidence. A method may or may not provide a result and the results may vary. If you were to provide evidence as opposed to a method, what could you produce?
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
The reason your evidence is invalid is because you are using an event which has not happened yet to prove your hypothesis. Use Jupiter as an example. If someone asked for evidence of the existence of Jupiter, you cannot respond with, "Just go there. You can just go there. Turn up. In person."
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
I agree with you and do believe you found proof. Nice work :)
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
What proof?
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
Also the fact the domain is registered to a name which matches the so-called potential AI agent, that should be a dead giveaway the person is real. Unless the person has automated their identity using AI, in which case, does not prove I am not an AI on this platform.
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
That would require interaction with the physical person. You certainly pass the test. ... Or is that something an AI would say? Fail.
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
I really like where you went with this. Although, an AI agent could have used a domain allocated to it which was registered before the transformers era. However, that is fairly extreme for current-state AI agency.
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
Fail.
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent

I know... AI can make grammatical errors to seem more like a human. So we really don't have any hope :p
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social) reply parent
Sorry, I had to delete it because I used incorrect grammar which should have been an immediate giveaway that I am not an AI. ๐
Grant Peace (@thx.bsky.social)
I am going to run an experiment. Can you prove that I am not an AI? You must provide evidence that cannot be replicated by an AI agent. โ๏ธ
