🧵 Album Review On Friday 29/08/2025, Sowulo will release their 5th studio album called Niht. We were honoured that we were allowed to listen to the album in advance. Our reviewer Cliff de Booy has been all over this new masterpiece from Sowulo, and came back all enthusiastic and inspired.
I find it frightening that stories I hear from the US more and more begin to resemble stories I would normally expect from countries like Belarus, Russia or maybe China...

3/3 Marcus even ventured to create his own version of Wardruna's famous song "Helvegen" - something that had me sceptical at first, as the original is very iconic. But he managed to really make this song his own, which is no small feat. I love it!
2/3 BTW: the album "Hunter's Moon" comes highly recommended if you are into folk-like music with a western/nordic touch. When he first told me that that was what he was aiming for, I was really curious - and he really pulled it off!
