I hate to be pessimistic because that does no good and this is game 1, but this was supposed to be a statement game and all I'm seeing is the same crap from last year. Looks like DJ U under center all over again at $1.5m btw. Serious questions moving forward.
Also I saw a lot of you talk about never watching other games after the death of the pac, and yet I saw a lot of comments about the other games today... Maybe CFB is still just as healthy despite realignment and relegation.
At my previous job I made sure I had game days off, because I wrote the schedule, at my new job I don't have that luxury. All of this might mean better mental health in a sad way.

I'm all for paying players but there has to be a system and collective bargaining. Collegiate sports at the highest level hasn't been about amateurism and education for a long time. I don't blame the athletes, they're just using a broken system. I'm glad for the time we had with them
