This should be getting far more attention from the media, and it should be investigated as a hate crime. A 14-year-old Black teen was targeted, beaten, and dehumanized with racial slurs by white teens while people stood around cheering. 1/4

My sister was great. I may have to take a lesson. There were so many incredible skaters there—-all I could think was these kids will have fewer rights than I had at their age. It was sad, just mostly Black kids grooving to the music and line dancing *on skates*!
