I haven't had a solid "GOTY" in a long while, and I think this is it so far at layer 400. I don't normally like skill trees, this game does them well. I don't normally like backtracking previous levels, but I am stoked for post game. This game makes me so excited to spend more time with it
Donkey Kong Bananza has been amazing so far. The way I've treated my playthrough has been like playground rumors. @fukamasongs.bsky.social and I have been trading off progress. They play past my save after I go to bed and viceversa then we get to theory craft. Thank jebus I didn't watch the direct
I think another big hit for me for enjoying this game is very good box art, full game on cart. I can't remember the last game I lost my shit over box art. It's really really good, and pulling out the art to view the inside art is worth it
I really didn't expect Donkey Kong Bananza to be as good as it is. I think the price point is still steep for a game with very limited voice acting, but I'm really enjoying it. Really looking forward to being P2 in Toxxi's playthrough too
