It really wasn't too bad, January is one of the milder months over here and Central Cambodia was about 5 degrees cooler than here, the sun was pretty intense but April is unbearably hot here.
Main temples and terraces are huge. Some are 1/2 to 3/4 mile from the compound gate to the buildings. The vertical ones, Bayon, Angkor Wat & a few others add another degree of difficulty. The temple pictured is about 3/4 mile away over the moat and outer wall from me
