I was listening to the latest episode of Good One where they interviewed John C. Reilly and it was really nice to listen to someone talk at length about love, beauty, and sincerity with enthusiasm.
A LiveNation venue in the area keeps booking movie screenings with well-known actors. John Cusack and High Fidelity, Chevy Chase and Christmas Vacation, Maccaulay Culkin and Home Alone. They do Q&As afterwords. On the one hand, yes. On the other hand, why?

I think we can agree that Facebook and Instagram are not what they were. But if anything is driving down my enjoyment of those platforms is how they try to shove Threads into it. I wish I could block it entirely.

Something I noticed about Alien: Earth... On Boy Kavalier's tropical island, there always ambient jungle noise - birds screeching, insects chirping - and it has become just as unsettling as the Xenomorph's clicks, clacks, and shrieks.
I haven't watched The Tonight Show since AD Miles left in 2017. Yeah, yeah. I know he came back in 2023, but the bloom was off the rose by then. I might actually watch a live broadcast, though. Only because it's so rare in network television.
I was thinking about upgrading my AirPods solely because it still had the lightning charging port and I wanted USB-C. But this stuff is cool, too.
