Dudley, the ginger, is a very anxious cat. He will jump at anything. Not a good mix with Trevor, who is alpha and dominating , but we celebrate every time he asserts himself.

We get nothing like that where I live. Flooding, fire and the occasional tremor. As I said, the only dust storm we had, in my memory, was 40years ago, and it was a baby storm compared to yours
What was the noise like? I can imagine it was not nice Gg or a C a at that a doesn’t like vacuum cleaners! (My Dudley hides when the vacuum comes out. Trevor doesn’t even wake up for it. )

A very unique man, and absolute treasure. I don’t enjoy everything he does, but he has a vision and he follows it through without compromise. His memoir was amazing, and hilarious, definitely worth the listen.
I recently listened to his audiobook of The Twilight World, the story I already knew, but it was probably a mistake to listen whilst I was at work. We have the dvd box set of the documentaries and spent a few weeks watching them some years ago
I am not a Kinski fan, but I do love Herzog. I have seen bits of Aguirre and Firzcaraldo, but prefer the documentary works. @sandeano.bsky.social won my undying affection with his Herzog impression.
But 11 is when all the fighting cats come out, Momb is only looking after you! So many nights lately I have to go outside, grab Trevor under my arm and carry him inside so he doesn’t get into a fight. It is very bad for his reputation

I do know the story behind it, but haven’t seen it. Probably was more interested at the time due to Damon Albany, because I am a Brit Pop girl 😉 The last gig we went to was Supergrass
That said, I do love soundtracks, and often find they are what gets me through the day at work.
It’s funny, one of my favourite soundtracks is a film I haven’t seen- Ravenous. And it is really odd for me to like this because it is really discordant, something I normally find jarring.
I was shown a small section of this recently. I am the book person, he is the film person. Sometimes we cross over 😉 We are both music people 😊

She has also watched both Universal and Hammer horror, alongside Giallo films and modern horror, but that has nothing to do with me.
I love “The Philadelphia Story”, but we’ve found that these dialogue heavy films don’t work with our almost 19yo daughter, but show her “The Nutty Professor” or “The Ladies Man” and she gets it.

Trevor had a thing for corn chips, and Dudley will eat any meat we are eating, except for when it is spicy. One of our old cats loved sushi. Actually, fried flake is a favourite. And Dudley tries to ask nicely, but sometimes he gets very impatient
