I have not painted in a while. This was my first foray into watercolor. It's a mini 2x2. I have to get a wider palette to show highlights. It was a fun experience and I am going to continue with other things in my yard! Watercolor takes some finesse. Only practicing will help me improve. 🤠 #miniart

Loved both the book and the movie. I enjoyed the 1933 b/w film. The actor just went insane so well, I loved it. ❣️The 2022 was enjoyable, it went back to the whole power play, but in this case he wanted to control his wife. I want to thank HG Wells for giving us such good monsters & aliens! 🧌👽🛸

Three-month-old Kipekee is our youngest orphan and newest foster addition. Rescued in June with sunken cheeks and no fat reserves after surviving days without milk or protection. With patience and plenty of milk, she's regaining strength. She's enjoying life at the Nursery where she's adored.
I am waiting just a bit before I adopt Kipekee. I lost two this year and I am being a bit cautious.💔 She looks so loved by the other orphans and well taken care of. Even as babies they surround her and keep her safe. Not stepping on her as she plays in the mud. What a joy to see her filling out. 🐘❣️🐘
It’s heating up here in Tsavo, which means Mr Bean has entered a phase of rest and relaxation. He finds an inviting patch of shade, squeezes himself into position, and lazes the day away. Keeper Peter is kind enough to hand-deliver Bean’s bowl of milk, so as to not interrupt his zen.
Oh my gosh can Mr Bean be any cuter. He is so big now and graduated from a bottle to a bowl. I love how they like kneeling down on their knees to eat. He is so pampered and spoiled. Keeper Peter does such a great job at Kaluku. Thank you for this video, it made my Monday!! 🐗❣️🐗

They will send her to a reintegration unit like they have other rescued giraffes in the past. It's a slow process reintroducing the orphans back into the wild, but it has happened in the past. Their main Keeper usually goes with them to ease the transition. Sheldrick knows when the time is right. 🦒❣️
