What I'm Watching ABOUT ALEX (2014) 7155 go ahead and loosely remake THE BIG CHILL. you can even reuse some of the character names! Another failure I got suckered into on TUBI. Try not to hate this guy with the glasses - ultra bastard of a character.
What I'm Watching KICKING & SCREAMING (1995) 7154 one of those movies where there is a character so annoying,with an actor I've never seen otherwise,where I was like "this guy wrote the movie I bet." He didn't, but it still doesn't excuse the awfulness of this on every level

And now it's been back long enough that people are starting to ignore Eccelston/Tennant/Smith if they jumped in later. Which is natural! We try to paintbrush audiences based on our own needs,while someone like my dad would see a theatrical film based only on THE STARTING TIME relative to his arrival
It's interesting to try and predict things like this,as there are so many factors at play. Think about Flash Gordon. Agressive licensor brought us toons,movies,comics,tv show for multiple decades. I watched the process personally with Doctor Who. Many new fans just ignore the old stuff (pre-05)

At one point, I thought I could be one of those archivist types buying up transparency auctions and sharing them with the world. But I found out I just prefer collecting the toys more than anything else - outside of making my own toys. Over-run here is an underrated Action Master.

WHAT I'M REWATCHING: THE OUTSIDERS (1983) I had a buddy who was of Italian descent when I was young,so I must've seen this & THE WANDERERS like fifty times at his house. There's a reason people keep writing stories about how trivial it is that we kill each other for being "different". Great film

A tale of two Star Wars figures Ignoring that EB Games was clearing out Jar-Jar for .50 at some point in the past, you'd be paying over DOUBLE per figure at regular price if your only local store was an Ames. Also hilarious to see how these things keep over the years. Cardboard ain't forever!
The ephemera of generations is interesting to sift through. What study did they do - what research was conducted - to lead to commemorative PLATES for everything? Their current online value would say the destination for these once desired collectibles is a dumpster.
