'Gender affirming care' has always annoyed me a bit as a descriptor, it has that 'validity' taint. It implies it is still optional. I dunno what else it should be called. Maybe something as simple as just 'transition treatment' or 'dysphoria therapy'. Not that language is the biggest issue I guess.
I keep it as simple as possible, as terminology trends make it change all the time! 😄 Gender services, (for medical services), and transition - which could be social and/or medical. I don't discern between c*s & trans gender services as we sometimes share them & I want to keep the trolls asleep! 🏳️⚧️☺️🏳️🌈
