Hahaha! It's Rios when he is introduced in "The End Is the Beginning," shirtless and with a chunk of metal protruding from his shoulder. So I guess that counts as pretty graphic. I get it!
Amazing. I had no idea until you mentioned it. Didn't even tell me which photo, but it had to be this one!
"Jaws: The Revenge" is also well known for being the movie that Michael Caine was making a boatload of money for instead of being on hand to receive his first Oscar in person. (Probably worth it. Since he did end up winning another Oscar, after all.)
2. Robert Shaw (aka Quint) was the inspiration for the great Captain Liam Shaw (Todd Stashwick) and most notably his incredible war-surviving narrative diatribe to Picard that was modeled after Quint's amazing tale of surviving the sharks in the Pacific after the USS Indianapolis went down. So good!
I saw it this weekend, too, and have two other #StarTrek connections! 1. The Jaws set decorator was John M. Dwyer, who worked on TOS and TNG and six different Trek films. And is my personal hero for quitting "Nemesis" because he couldn't work with the idiot that is Stuart Baird. ... and ...
Don't worry. It will be the first Lower Decks movie!!!

Yeah. Great call. Amazing that the style of TV goes all the way back to MASH doing it, and it took #StarTrek this long to figure out a way to do it. That's one of the reasons I appreciate it so much.

Hell yeah! Great list!!! I do like to say (well, on later episodes at least, you'll get there, I hope) that our shows are designed to never be carbon-dated, so you can listen to them whenever you want & in any order, and they never really get "dated." You are now putting that to the test! (Thanks!)

"Once Upon a Time" is so underrated. Was a real treat seeing Michael Taylor talk about writing it at the latest #STLV for the first time. (He's kind of a trippy, rock-and-roll, hipster dude, so the fact he was trying to create this fantastical, kids' story as the framework was really out there.)
