I remember being horrified reading an article back in 2006 about how there were thousands of homes donated by VA to FEMA sitting on lots, waiting for Katrina victims to move in and start rebuilding their lives. But, due to red tape, they sat for months while thousands suffered. It was maddening.

A lot of us are in the same boat; it's overwhelming. I have to take occasional breaks for my mental well-being, because the sheer amount of constitutional crises, corruption, grift, and injustices is extremely distressing and depressing. It was overwhelming in the first term, but far worse now.

Well, yes, it would create a sort of nasty civil war. It's not likely to happen, but, again, the people need to know where we stand before democracy entirely fails. Once the Marshals refuse a lawful order from a Federal judge, which they will, then at least people will know how far we've fallen.
