10 years ago Kirk and TPUSA, among other right wing "free speech" groups, urged their followers harass me for my academic speech because they didn't like it. They went after me, my family, my colleagues....it was terrifying. And to Klein this is practicing politics the right way!?!?

I was joking early on with my counselor that I was already doing essentially all the things she was suggesting for dealing with stress, and was still struggling. It occurred to me recently that I'm currently doing almost none of them and can't seem to force myself to.

I have a specific example in mind, but I'm pretty sure I would turn to dust if I said it out loud (type it).
I think some "this game is too hard stuff" is just that, but when it comes to sequels, I think a lot of it comes down to, "the original scratched all of very specific itches" and this new game isn't exactly that.
In the case I'm thinking of, it was complicating the combat system in a game that was primarily a platform puzzle game. It's also the reason I haven't been quick to jump on TOTK despite loving BOTW because that construction system looks like something I would be endlessly frustrated with.
I have no idea on the current specifics, but I do remember being disappointed in the past when the sequel to a game I really enjoyed added a game mechanic that I historically have not enjoyed getting used to.
A thought I had a few months ago was that I never thought I could hate a person this much... and I hate that person so much more now than I did even then.
