I think the Ontario NDP and Liberals failed to run on Trump, the same mistake Poilievre is making right now. Failure to understand the real ballot box question was their undoing.

Watching Mark Carney do the job is worth more in forming a positive, intelligent, thoughtful, competent, responsible image than a hundred staged campaign events. He’s the right guy and he shows it every day.
This is what I’d much rather see than campaign rallies: The Prime Minister, doing the job, focussed on what’s best for Canada. It’s clear who the best person will be to lead Canada through our country’s economic transition. It’s not the “Canada’s-broken” guy pitching policy he used to oppose.

While CSIS indicates they have no evidence Poilievre knew about India’s actions, I find it hard to believe Poilievre was unaware. If India’s goal is future influence or leverage, why would a they interfere if the beneficiary of the interference didn’t know? There must be a quid pro quo somewhere.

During the pandemic the price of softwood lumber and building materials were inflated for reasons that no longer exist. What can be done to lower those prices again to help reinforce our economy through increased Canadian construction of much needed housing?

With the Administration asking Republican senators to avoid town halls due to constituent backlash against the Trump Administration, Democrats should now hold as many town halls as possible and invite all those disenfranchised republicans that voted for Trump. Make it news!

Thank you for all the government’s efforts. The lower tariff rate on Canadian oil shows a clear weakness for the U.S. Administration. Can we not introduce a 15% export tax on oil three weeks from now? Won’t that equally share our pain across provinces and sectors while hitting Trump where it hurts?
